During the workshop the participants will acquire the basic concepts through hands-on experimentation with various techniques of simple animation and the basic procedure of editing. The participants will create short film sequences.These workshops are intended for educators and beginners who are interested in acquiring basic skills of Moving Image Techniques and how they can be applied in the classroom. Designing Video for Learning

Leader:

Participants will be able to implement learner-centred design principles for pedagogically effective video. There are no technical requirements and participants just bring their own laptops.

Mobile Learning in the Classroom

This workshop is designed for educators to practice basic skills in implementing mobile applications in their K-5 levels and how to use them in their own learning environments with interactive activities.

This workshop is intended for beginners who need to develop their own digital books for the Apple bookstore or Kindle Android store. We will cover the basics by setting up and building a EPUB with the apple book developer and Amazon Kindle bookbuilder tool. We will build the book and then go through the publishing process, taking it straight to market.
